Photo competition focused on Hanoi’s homes

A photography contest, using Hanoi’s living spaces as its subject, was launched in Hanoi on January 14 as part of a series of activities to mark the capital’s 1000th anniversary.

Both professional and amateur photographers from Hanoi are eligible to submit photos for entry in both individual and group categories.

The competition, launched by the Lac Viet Community Support and Development Centre and the e-newspaper VietnamNet, is offering prizes of trips to Thailand or Singapore to enjoy the lucky winners.

The competition is co-sponsored by University of Hawaii's Centre of Globalisation Research Centre and Kim Dong Publishing House.

The deadline for entries is March 15.
